A Day At The: Chelsea flee market

My mom and I have been on a repurposing kick, so we have been flea market hopping on Sundays mornings. So many DIY projects and so little time! This sunday I ended up buying a gold 1920's belt for a fine $10 and a vintage Ralph Lauren jacket which was alittle pricey for $35, totally worth it. As you know I love digging through odd stuff and this market was filled with freaky wonders!! I bought a letter press box for $16 to be used as jewelry storage/organization, it's prefect for displaying all my rings and pendants! Next Sunday I'm going to another flea market and ill post more treasures then! - x0xO Phoebe

Haul: Urban Outfitter

I went to brake in my new local Urban Outfitters, and this is what I picked up. You may have already realized but I have obsession with triangles! I like them on shirts, as rings, on necklaces, and they are everywhere now! These triangle earings were a great find for only $6. The double sided leopard earrings are really unique, I dont own any earrings like them, grabbed them for $16. Mid knuckle rings are really trendy right now (so 90's) and I already own a bunch but i loved the lines of this ring, very aztec, had to have for $6.

The velvet skirt was a total whim, it was on sale and reminded me of Olivia Harrison (love her). I have tons of skirts and probably could have thrifted something similar to this but it was right there and velvet is my weakness, got it for $20. I was drawn to this muscle tank because of the triangle obviously but even more because of the eye. Im even more obsessed with eyes, love them on anything! Im still looking for an eye ring, if anyone knows where I can find one let me know?!  Overall I had a successful trip I think the items I bought will get a lot of use. - x0x0x0Phoebe

How to Style Flatforms : Koi Couture

Flatforms are so late 90's Spice Girl.  Huge shoe designers like Jeffery Campbell and Prada have been pumping them out since summer 2012 . Although designer shoes are lovely they are very pricey. Personally i don't dip into my emergency shoe fund for just any trend. Im proud to announce I did not dent my wallet to purchase these black suede flatforms, I got them from Koi Couture makes quality trendy shoes for reasonable prices. I style flatforms with 90's inspired garb, like the outfit above or just a flannel around my waist paired with light wash high-waisted jeans. But of course there are no rules to styling theses suckers have fun with it and be sure to check out Koi Couture. - Phoebe

Thrift Haul

These are items I purchased at my local Goodwill over the past month. Thrifting takes patients and a good eye.  If a texture or color pops out, pick it up. I always look at an item as what it could become. Before i hit it with my scissors that corky cat muscle tank was an old oversized man's shirt. Try on everything, i swear by this, vintage items can have irregular sizing and items that aren't amazing on the hanger can surprise you. If you are petite or looking for crop tops check out the kid's section (boys and girls) thats where i found the cropped gray and blue baseball shirt. -x0x0x Phoebe
